About our clientOur client is a Top 4 Professional Services Organisation providing Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Transaction Advisory Services. The Transaction Services Team specialises in Buy Side and Sell Side Due Diligence for a wide variety of sectors and organisations.
The opportunityAs part of a Global Transaction Advisory Services team, you will specialise in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence.
You will advise clients on Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Diligence, Transaction Tax, and Valuation and Business Modelling.
You will work with many of the world’s largest organisations and will help to identify key value drivers, challenge assumptions about future performance, search for and advise on hidden value, and work with other service teams to deliver an integrated approach to their clients’ before, during and after the transaction.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Understanding the key business drivers, co-developing our approach with the client, agreeing value measurements with the client, providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice
- Project manage teams and work closely with all members as well as forming strong internal links within transaction support and other departments both in Australia and internationally to form multi-disciplinary teams
- Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with the client
- Plan and monitor the progress of the team
- Uses Decision Analytic Platform (DAP) and data tools (e.g. such as Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI) and can build a Deal Tool
- Identify business development opportunities and assist Partners and Directors on proposals and new business opportunities by participating in the proposal process, building client relationships and demonstrating knowledge of client business
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor or Master of Accounting/Business/Law/Economics
- At least 5 years for Manager applicants and 7 years for Senior Manager applicants, of related work experience, with transaction diligence or M&A transactions experience preferred, or a background in external audit or restructuring with more recent experience in transaction diligence
- A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, or international equivalent
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and a dedication to teamwork
- A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment
