Senior Forensic Accountant

About the Client 
The firm is a well-established and respected boutique firm of chartered accountants operating in the eastern suburbs of Victoria. We specialise solely in business valuations and forensic accounting.


About the Opportunity
Working in a relaxed environment where you'll be reporting directly to the Partners and with on the job training for Forensic, and Valuations in commercial and litigation matters. 

Key responsibilities:

• Communicating with clients and referrers (lawyers and accountants).
• Assisting in the preparation of expert reports for commercial disputes and family law matters such as - Business valuations, assessment of loss of earnings, assessment of damages and economic loss, Investigating primary accounting, financial and other business data in relation to fraud and other financial investigations, research into industries, regulatory environment, etc.

Key requirements: 

• Have around 3 years professional accounting experience, in business services and tax or otherwise management accounting.
• Be CA/CPA Qualified or near Qualified
• Have Excel & Word skills 
• Eye for detail and a good problem solver
• Enjoy challenges, variety and ability to meet deadlines and prioritise
• Able to communicate effectively
• Have a growth mindset
