About Our Client Our client provides risk reviews, asset restructuring, litigation support and distressed management services to the Australian market. They specialise in helping stakeholders in the property and construction industries to manage risk and make informed credit and investment decisions. They also help distressed businesses and assets to recover, reposition and progress and provide forensic accounting services to help their clients with litigation to assist them to understand financial situations and the impact of historic events.
The Opportunity Focused within the Property sector, the successful candidate will be managing various assignments nationally. The role will be a great fit for an experienced accountant with an interest in financial assessment and investigative accounting alongside exposure to marketing principles.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Marketing: identify, formulate and support marketing efforts for existing and new clients.
- Staff management: mentor and develop staff and ensure achievement of required deadlines and quality expectations across multiple workstreams.
- Workflow will generally include preparation of reports that focus on:
- Analysis of historical financials, structure and management of business.
- Detailed financial modelling, forecast cashflow.
- Statutory compliance.
- Financial capability for specific developments.
- Present findings and engage with clients.
- Ongoing product development and refinement.
- Identify/present on industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience Required: - +4 years of professional accounting experience (business services, audit or financial controller) and experience with XERO, MYOB, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- CA/CPA qualified - required.
- Clear written and verbal communications skills.
- Efficient with an ability to take ownership of matters and coordinate multiple work streams.
- Experience with management of staff
- Property and construction industry experience would be a bonus.
